Could Auckland Be Our Next Workshop Location? We'd Love to Know!

If you're based in Auckland and you've been dreaming of learning chalk painting, decorative finishing & decoupage techniques in a hands-on, relaxed setting — this post is for you.

We're exploring the possibility of bringing our popular creative workshops to the Auckland area, and we want to hear from you before we commit to dates and venues. Your interest is what makes it happen!

What Are the Newton's Paints Workshops?

Our workshops are fun, practical, and designed for all skill levels — whether you've never picked up a paintbrush or you're an experienced crafter looking to level up. We cover professional chalk paint and decorative finishing techniques, and every session is a little different because we love to mix things up to keep it fresh and exciting.

What's Included:

  • All materials and supplies — just bring yourself!
  • Expert instruction and hands-on guidance from Ali
  • A take-home project you'll be proud to display
  • Light refreshments
  • A friendly, relaxed atmosphere where creativity flows

Why Auckland?

We've had so many enquiries from Auckland crafters and upcycling enthusiasts, and we think it's time to bring the Newton's Paints experience north. But we want to make sure there's enough interest before we lock in a venue and dates — so this is where you come in.

How to Register Your Interest

It's simple — just send us an email at sales@newtonspaints.co.nz with "Auckland Workshop" in the subject line. Let us know:

  • Your name and suburb
  • What type of workshop you'd be most interested in (beginner chalk paint, furniture upcycling, decoupage, etc.)
  • Whether you'd prefer a weekday or weekend session

We'll keep you in the loop as plans develop — and EOI registrants will get first access to booking when dates are confirmed.

Stay in the Loop

Follow us on social media and keep an eye on our website for updates. We can't wait to bring a little creative magic to Auckland!
