Designer decoupage napkins collection featuring floral, coastal and vintage European patterns for furniture upcycling and DIY craft projects

Introducing Our New Designer Decoupage Napkin Collection

Where creativity meets luxury – and every project truly becomes a tiny masterpiece.

If you love decoupage, mixed media, upcycling, or simply adding artistic flair to your home, then you’re going to be obsessed with what we’ve been working on behind the scenes.

Over the past year, Newton’s Paints & Crafts has quietly grown one of New Zealand’s most eclectic, beautiful and affordable selections of decorative napkins. Today, we’re taking a bold new step:

We are becoming NZ’s biggest and most exciting retailer of single designer napkins for decoupage.

And trust us… the new range we’ve just launched is drop-dead gorgeous.

These aren’t your everyday dinner serviettes — they’re miniature artworks.

Why Napkins? Why Now?

The decoupage community in New Zealand is exploding. From beginners crafting their first oyster-shell trinket dish to seasoned furniture artists transforming vintage drawers with botanical motifs, napkins have become a secret weapon for stunning results without the fuss.

But the problem? Beautiful napkins are hard to source, sold only in packs, or printed in designs that feel a bit… dated.

So we decided to change that.

At Newton’s, we now hand-select designs from around the world — florals, Chinoiserie, coastal styles, vintage European, whimsical creatures, bold patterns, soft watercolours, and everything in between. Then we offer them individually, so you can mix and match without committing to a full pack.

Meet the New Designer Range

Our brand-new drop is carefully curated for creators who want something fresh, modern, and truly artistic. Expect:

✨ Fine-art florals worthy of a gallery wall

✨ French & Italian-style patterns perfect for upcycled furniture

✨ Coastal shells, corals, and ocean motifs (hello oyster shells!)

✨ Botanical studies & vintage etchings with that old-world charm

✨ Bright contemporary prints for statement trays, jars and canvases

✨ Soft romantic palettes for shabby chic & cottagecore lovers

Every design has been chosen because it tells a story — so your projects can, too.

Perfect for Every Creator

Whether you’re a seasoned decoupage artist or someone who has never held a Mod Podge bottle before, you’ll find napkins here to spark your imagination.

Use them on:

Our napkins are all 3-ply, beautifully detailed, richly coloured, and sourced from premium European print houses. Pair them with Newton’s Chalk Paint, our soft decoupage brushes, craft glues, and finishing Varnishes, Epoxies and Waxes for professional results every time.

We’re not just selling napkins — we’re providing an entire creative ecosystem.🌱
