One of our favourite decorative techniques at Newton’s Paints & Crafts is decoupage. This timeless art form dates back hundreds of years and became popular in Europe during the 17th century, where craftsmen used decorative papers to create the look of hand-painted furniture. Today, it’s a wonderful way to personalise everything from furniture and pots to shells and home décor.
