Upcycling Ideas

Apply Ebony as a bold base coat, let dry, then dry-brush Newton's Chalk Paint lightly over the top. Sand back edges for a worn, vintage look. Layer multiple stain and chalk paint colours for striking results — the possibilities are endless!

Application

Apply with a cloth, brush, roller or foam applicator. Note: Any previous varnishes or finishes must be sanded off first to allow the stain to absorb into the timber.

• Coverage: 4–12m² per litre (depending on timber porosity)
• Dry time: 2–3 hours
• Low sheen finish
• No thinning required — clean up with water while wet
