This wax is fabulous! It is used to create patina, depth and enhance detail on your projects. It will protect your piece at the same time.

It has a soft clotted cream consistency making it very easy to apply.

Apply a coat of our Lavender Beeswax polish or Newton's Varnish to the surface first.This will make it easier to work the colour into the areas where you want it to be and prevent staining the Chalk paint colour.

 Apply sparingly, we suggest using our wax brush( see here ) to apply the wax over the surface and to dab the wax into crevasses. Alternatively, the wax can be applied with a soft lint-free cloth. Do not over wax, too much wax will leave a finished surface feeling tacky, gently rub/buff off any excess wax before it dries onto the surface.

Tip 1: Experiment in an inconspicuous area, to enable you to be sure to get your desired result.

Tip 2: Be gentle with your piece after the application of paint and waxes as the paint and wax can take up to 30 days to fully cure and harden.
